Brooke Vincent has sparked a fan frenzy after making a surprise return to Weatherfield this week.
The actress, 30, who played Sophie Webster on the cobbles for over 15 years, made a comeback to her former workplace alongside her son Mexx, 2, on Thursday.
The much-loved soap star, who left the soap in 2019, looked as chic as ever as she donned a stylish outfit while walking hand-in-hand with her young son.
The former Sophie Webster actress sported an on-trend grey checked coat and a pair of leather trousers as she posed for snaps around iconic Weatherfield locations.
Mother-son duo Brooke and Mexx also posed for another wholesome snap which saw the pair walk down the cobbles towards the famous Bistro.
Alongside the collection of sweet snaps, Brooke penned: "The most iconic street Today I took Mexx back to Corrie, last time I was here I was about to give birth to him.
"Three years have passed, everything has changed, yet everything is still the same."
Brooke went on: "I saw old friends and people I literally spent over half my life working with.
"Forever a huge part of me. Until next time. We had the best time visiting.”
And it wasn't long until Brook's former Corrie co-stars rushed to plead with the actress to come back to the cobbles for good.
Colson Smith, who stars as Craig Tinker, commented: "Come home then."
Sally-Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor penned: “So good to see you, Brooke! We need you back.”
Meanwhile, Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, wrote: "I am gutted I wasn't there today."
Back in October, Brook revealed that she was ready to return to acting but that she wasn't planning a return to Coronation Street just yet.
Brooke, who played Sophie from 2004 to 2019 and had some hard-hitting storylines during her time on the soap, while Helen Flanagan - who is hoping to reprise her role once again - took on the part of her older sister Rosie from 2000 to 2012 before returning for another brief stint in 2017.
