Mike Forde is the man leading Rangers' internal review of their football operations, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun reports that the former Chelsea chief is heading up the job, after being hired by the club's new CEO Patrick Stewart.
Forde was Chelsea's director of football operations over a six-year period prior to 2014. He also has experience working for Bolton Wanderers.
The review, carried out by Sportsology, will offer 'strategic guidance ... equipping clients with the tools and insights to achieve competitive advantage'.
One of the company's previous clients includes recent Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles.
When telling the Rangers fan advisory board about the research, Stewart detailed what sort of points will be raised in the 'root and branch' review.
He said: "Everything is in scope. If we're honest with ourselves and look at everything in its entirety, the club has not been where it wants to be for several years now.
"We're going to review everything we're doing at Auchenhowie and we're going to look at it from a number of different angles.
