Former Celtic striker Stefan Scepovic has made the move Down Under as he joins Brisbane Roar from AEL Limassol in Cyprus.
The 33-year-old hitman has played all across the globe including Serbia, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Scotland, Hungary, Israel, Poland and Japan during his career and he will now add Australia to that list having penned a deal with the A-League side.
Scottish football fans will remember the striker for his short stint at the Hoops that brought five goals in 26 appearances. Scepovic can't wait to get started in this next chapter of his career with his focus on hitting the goals that will help fire his side up the league table. They want to be in the final six spot contention come the end of the season with side currently tenth and just two points off bottom spot. His move to the A-League will bring him up against former Rangers and Hibs star Jason Cummings who has hit the ground running since his move to Central Coast Mariners and Scepovic will hope he can make a similar impact for his new employers.

He's signed a deal that will take him up until the end of the current campaign and will wear the No 22 shirt.
Speaking to the official club website, Scepovic said: “I’m looking forward to the challenge. I will try to help the team as much as possible, so if we can achieve something together, that will be something nice.
“I think all strikers, we live for goals, and goals help teams to win.
“As a team we attack together, we defend together so in the end all of us have a job on the pitch and if we play as one, I think we will have success.
“My first impression of this club is that everyone is very nice, it’s been a warm welcome from everyone at the club and now I am focused on finishing the season with the club and from there let’s see.”
