Former Celtic and Rangers duo Jota and Glen Kamara have been axed from Rennes' training group.
The pair have been put in the 'loft' until they depart as the French Ligue 1 side looks to trim their squad in the final few weeks of the January transfer window, reports Le Parisien.
Winger Jota spent two years in Glasgow with Celtic, contributing to 54 goals across 83 appearances under the watch of Ange Postecoglou.
He left for Saudi Arabia in 2023 in a big money move, although after it didn't work out for him at Pro League side Al-Ittihad, he made the switch to Brittany last summer, just over a month after Kamara joined Rennes.
The Finland international swapped Leeds for the north of France in July last year, but across all competitions, he and Jota have managed just 23 appearances for Jorge Sampaoli's side this season.

They now look set to depart as Rennes 'hopes' that the duo can find a way out of the club in the 'coming days'.
The news comes amid reports that Les Rouge et Noirs have emerged as potential suitors for Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi.
His future has been the heart of speculation this month after the MLS' official website wrongly posted an article stating he'd completed a move to Atlanta United.
