Aiden McGeady has opened up on his future as he insists he is ready to keep playing.
The 37-year-old left Hibs at the end of the season following an injury hit campaign at Easter Road. Lee Johnson made a big play to land the former Celtic and Sunderland winger last summer following his move to Easter Road but it never worked out with the veteran finding himself out on the sidelines for an extended period of time.
The attacker has revealed he is almost back in full training again following surgery and feels he still has plenty in the tank. Looking beyond his playing days he's already done his B coaching badge while he admits a sporting directorship is one role that interests him - but for now he wants to keep playing as he looks for a new club.

Speaking in the Scottish Sun, he said: “I’m just coming back from surgery but I’m pretty much in full training again.
“I still feel I’ve a lot to offer. Last season was a bit of nightmare for me, I didn’t enjoy it as I had two long-term injuries. But I’m fit now and I know I can still play.
“I’ve got eyes on the future as well. I’ve done my B coaching badge and I was supposed to finish my A in the summer.
“I’ve got a passion for coaching but I don’t know if I want to finish playing.
“A sporting directorship interests me as well, being in the background at clubs.”
Speaking in May about his Hibs exit, he commented: “I’ve enjoyed my time at Hibs and wish the lads, supporters, and the staff all the best for next season.”
