Former Bolton Wanderers loanee Marlon Fossey could be on the move on transfer deadline day as Fulham are in talks with Standard Liege over a permanent move for the defender, according to reports.
The 23-year-old Fulham defender spent part of the second half of the season on loan at Wanderers from newly promoted Premier League side Fulham. Fossey played 16 times and scored once after moving to the club at the start of January in an impressive spell that was cut short owing to injury.
Wanderers and Ian Evatt had previously made no secret of the fact that would have liked to have signed the wing-back this summer. Fossey has a year left on his contract with the Cottagers.

However, Wanderers moved on from signing the defender when competition from the Championship for his signature emerged. They later signed Conor Bradley on loan from Liverpool for the campaign, who they had sought originally in January.
Speculation has since followed on where Fossey will be playing his football this season. He has remained at Fulham and links suggesting he was going to move to Rotherham United were rubbished by the player himself.
Now according to Sky Sports, the Cottagers are in talks with the Belgian side over a permanent move for the defender. Fossey is in the last 12 months of his Fulham contract and turned down an extension offer at Craven Cottage.
