Former Bay City Roller Pat McGlynn has appeared in court charged with assaulting a family member.
McGlynn is accused of kicking, punching and spitting on the woman during an incident in Loanhead, Midlothian.
The 64-year-old appeared at the Justice of the Peace Court in Edinburgh where he pled not guilty.
The star appeared under his full name, Patrick McGlynn, during the short hearing on Wednesday.
McGlynn, of Straiton just outside Edinburgh, will return to the court next month for trial.
He is accused of assaulting Yvonne McGlynn on February 23 2019 outside a property in Loanhead by kicking her on the body, punching her to the head, and spitting on her, all to her injury.
McGlynn joined the Bay City Rollers in 1976 as a rhythm guitarist to replace departing band member Ian Mitchell.
He left the Scots band, which had several massive hits in the 1970s, the following year.
