Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has claimed that Gary Neville is right to suggest Manchester City could win the Premier League title by 10 points.
Pep Guardiola's side currently trail the Gunners by two points in the top-flight table, however, the London outfit have a game in hand over the reigning champions. The Blues lost ground in the title race after dropping points away at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with Arsenal coming from behind to beat Aston Villa earlier in the day.
City secured a 3-1 victory over Mikel Arteta's side last week, and they will clash again - this time at the Etihad - in April. Speaking on The Overlap at the start of February, ex-Manchester United captain Neville suggested that the Blues could go on to comfortably win the title if they manage to overtake Arsenal with a few games of the season remaining.

Frimpong, who made 16 appearances for the Gunners, has admitted he agrees with Neville, suggesting that, despite their current lead, his former side could end up missing out on the Premier League title by 10 points.
"I have to agree with Gary Neville, Arsenal could lose this title by 10 points towards the end of the season," he told Midnite. "I know we nearly signed Moises Caicedo, but Arsenal needs to sign big-name players. We've signed Jorginho and Jakub Kiwior, but we needed three big-name players to push this team forward for the title.
"The signings we made were not enough, I wish the board showed a bit more ambition because we were in such a great position and we might not get this chance again for a while. It will be very difficult to push Manchester City, especially when they're top of the league like they are now.
He added: "With Arsenal lately, this falling off at crucial times has become part of us. We collapsed last year when we were trying to get into the top four. This time it's with the title charge, Manchester City is a game that needed a statement and we collapsed, we played well in patches but it was not a typical Arsenal performance.
"The target may have to be top four because we don't have the ambition to win the league, it's a shame because we had such a great lead. Hopefully this summer we can buy our transfer targets and push this team forward."
Prior to their win over Villa at the weekend, the Gunners had failed to win in their last four matches - which included two defeats to City and a loss at Everton. The London outfit are aiming to win their first league title since 2004, while the Blues are looking to secure their fifth title in six years.
