Nicklas Bendtner insists it's time up for Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel as far as the Danish national team goes.
The former Arsenal hero believes the veteran keeper is finished at the international level.
The Hoops stopper has come in for some hefty criticism following Denmark's 5-2 Nations League loss to Portugal on Sunday night. They lost 5-2 in Lisbon after leading 1-0 from the first leg in Copenhagen.
Schmeichel sustained a shoulder injury during the encounter - and that is potentially set to keep him on the sidelines for a lengthy period.
Now, Bendtner, who won 81 caps for Denmark, believes it's time a new keeper was given a chance ahead of the 38-year-old.
"My question mark for the Danish team is around the goalkeeper," he said. "Kasper is 38 now - I like him a lot, but he cost us a lot of goals in Portugal. He has grown bigger.

"And once Leicester get relegated, I’d imagine half of the Premier League will try to sign him."
