FORMER Aberdeen player Calvin Ramsay has been made to be patient so far since joining Liverpool.
However, the 19-year-old was handed a chance to impress for the Reds' under-21 side last night, as he scored in his first appearance.
It wasn't all smiles for the Scot though, as his side went down 3-2 to Accrington Stanley in the EFL Trophy.
On a personal note, it was a night to remember for Ramsay.
Coming off the bench, the ex-Aberdeen defender scored as he made an impact in the cup clash.
The right-back is waiting on his chance in Jurgen Klopp's first team.
While he's been made to wait, niggling injuries haven't helped his case.
Ramsay was named in the Liverpool squad for their home game against Rangers recently.
Although, he didn't make it on to the pitch, as Klopp and his staff ease him into life at Anfield.
Ramsay was subbed on last night for Luca Stephenson on the 63rd minute.
The Premier League's youth side were losing by two when he entered the fray.
He goal, in the end, was no more than a consolation.
However, it will do him the world of good as he looks to kick-on in his development on Merseyside.
Ex-Celtic kid Ben Doak was also part of the team.
