Everywhere in Wales you can sign a book of condolences and leave flowers for Queen Elizabeth II

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday, September 8 after more than 70 remarkable years on the throne. Great Britain has now entered into a period of National Mourning and senior Royals and Government officials have begun to make arrangements for Her Majesty's funeral, which will be held in London later this month.

People across the country are being invited to share tribute messages to the Queen and condolences for her family, and leave floral tributes too, if they wish, whilst newspapers around the world have also shared the news, with dozens of international leaders expressing their sadness.

Flags across Great Britain and many Commonwealth countries are now flying at half-mast and councils across Wales and beyond are now placing special 'Books of Condolence' at town and city halls and other community buildings in their region.
