TRNSMT is returning for 2023 - seeing huge names in music descend on Glasgow Green once again this July.

Seen by many as T In The Park's successor, music lovers from across the country will be able to listen to their favourite artists while enjoying the good weather (hopefully!).

However, planning your big outing can be a difficult task as there is so much to consider when going to any music festival.

This is why we have decided to answer some of the most commonly asked questions around TRNSMT 2023.

Unfortunately, children under the age of 16 are not permitted into the festival with a Challenge 25 policy in place for the event.

All IDs will need a valid date and clear photograph with only original copies being accepted.

Can I take alcohol into TRNSMT 2023 and what are the banned items?

According to the event organisers, bags and rucksacks bigger than A4 size, glass (including perfume), metal or hard plastic bottles and food/drink/drugs/alcohol (even if unopened) are banned items.

Attendees who try and enter with flares and smoke canisters will also be charged by the police with flags, chairs, professional recording equipment, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs and hi-viz tabards or jackets also banned.
