If you want to welcome the new year in style, Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebration has you covered.
Once again, this world-famous event will take to the streets of Edinburgh, welcoming thousands of revellers from all over.
With only days to go before Hogamany 2025, here is everything you need to know.

The Hogmanay celebration in Edinburgh will take place between Sunday, December 29, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Gates for the Street Party, which takes place on December 31, will open at 8pm with the last admission being at 11pm. Live entertainment will begin at 9pm.
How to get tickets to Hogmanay 2025 in Edinburgh
Those wishing to get tickets to the Street Party and various other events can do so on the Hogmanay 2025 website or via 0131 623 3033.
There will be no need to collect your tickets as these will be sent as e-tickets and emailed directly to customers.
General admission to the Street Party costs £30 per person.

The main Hogmanay event taking place will be the Street Party which will include live music, DJs, giant screens, pipers, drummers, funfair attractions as well as delicious street food stalls.
There will be three zones; the DJ Zone (Waverley Bridge), The Tartan Zone (Castle Street) as well as one catering to street theatre performances.
At the DJ Zone, revellers will be able to enjoy non-stop bangers from Tom Lowndes alongside BBC Radio 1 DJ Arielle Free.
The Tartan Zone features some of the best Scottish trad music, including tunes from artists like Peatbog Faeries and Celtic-electronic duo Valtos.
The Street Theatre and Performance Zone will see Close Act walk, run, jump and even fly amongst the crowds in a rivetting display. Edinburgh Noise Committee will also provide some high-energy drumming alongside other acts like the spectacular DeLighters.

What other events are taking place to mark the New Year in Edinburgh?
Recently, organisers announced the return of the Hogmanay torchlit procession. The popular event marks the beginning of the festivities and will take place on December 29.
Ahead of the Street Party, there will also be the Night Afore Concert at the Assembly Rooms which will feature the huge 1990s band Idleworld. This will take place on December 30.
