Manchester United supporters are calling on figures in the boardroom to step up their pursuit for Declan Rice after watching him save West Ham in the FA Cup.
Having established himself as one of the hottest properties in Europe, the 22-year-old has already been earmarked by the Old Trafford giants as a priority target heading into the summer transfer window.
Less than 24 hours after crashing out of the FA Cup on penalties to Middlesbrough, the player wanted to solve one problem for United next season rolled up his sleeves to prevent the Hammers suffering one of the biggest shocks in the history of the world-famous competition.
West Ham were staring down the barrel of defeat to non-league Kidderminster this lunchtime.
However, after an early goal from Alex Penny, blushes were spared when Rice - summoned from the bench at half-time - burst into the box and sent the fourth round tie to extra-time.
Albeit in humble surroundings at Aggborough, it was a moment that hasn't gone unnoticed at United.
