When it comes to booking a holiday, Ryanair flights are often the first choice for many jetsetters.
The affordable airline offers cheap and cheerful journeys to a range of destinations all over the UK and Europe, with fares sometimes being as low as £9.99 for a single trip.
This is ideal if you plan on splurging on your holiday whilst you're there, and therefore want to spend as little on flights as possible. But the low prices often mean that you're faced with extra charges for taking certain things on board.
Here's a list of the different things that you can expect to pay extra for on your Ryanair flight, as reported by Chronicle Live.
Baggage
This may seem like an obvious one, and it's true for most airlines - your hold luggage will come at a cost.
The most basic Ryanair flights will allow you to take one small personal item onboard, but you'll need to pay if you want to take anything larger.
These prices are per flight, not per journey, and are priced at the time of booking. For late additions or extras added on at the airport, expect to pay a larger fee.

If you don't want to check-in online and would rather do it at the desk before your flight, you'll be faced with an extra £50 charge. They’ll also bill you £20 to reissue your boarding pass, which includes if you check in online but don’t print it out.
If you need to change your flight booking, it’ll set you back £45 to do it online or £60 with an agent at the airport.
Meanwhile, changing the name on your booking will come at the staggering price of £115.
For those who miss their flights and try to get on the next one, you might end up being charged £100, with an additional £50 booking fee added onto any flight bookings made with an agent in-person at the airport.
One of the most confusing fees is the "therapeutic oxygen reservation fee", which Ryanair charges £55 for. This extra cost is for those who need therapeutic oxygen for medical reasons as they are not permitted to bring their own onboard the flight for safety reasons.
When you've taken off, the extra expenses don’t stop as there’s no food or drink included in the price of your airfare. This will all start adding up when the drinks and snacks are served.
