Did he see the turnaround coming?
100 per cent. At half time, I thought we were attacking well, we were troubling them, we scored a couple and had one or two close calls. Defensively we were pretty sound despite conceding four tries, one of which was an attacking error and two on last plays where we lacked awareness and a tough double movement call. The scoreline isn't always reflective, it's not always a reflection of the game and I thought it was a good, close game first half.
The perfect response to last week?
I want a response after every week, to play well regardless of last week's outcome. That performance won't count at all when we go to KR on Friday. But what it did show is that there's a lot of belief in the group. When we went to twelve men we actually played better, that was a good sign.
The performance during the 12-man stint
You don't know how that period will pan out. It's important you finish your sets and maintain possession when you have it. YOu see it in other sports, the ten-man team in football can do a good job, you see people do more when they have to. When backs are against the well you see what people are made of. We played a very good team today.

Harry Newman
The talent is there, the challenge is to find an all round game week on week. He has all the tools, it's about application now. Every player needs to learn how to manage emotion and that's critical to becoming a top performer. The measurement of emotions gives the talent a chance.
Blake Austin
I think Austo has been playing good, steady footy most of the year. He hasn't had a bad game and it was good to see some things open up on the back of his play today.
The crowd
That was the most impact I've felt in my time here. They were riding it hard because we were playing well, they love to see the short kick-off and crossf ield kick. It was going back to 04, 05, 06, that time, they love to see people express themselves. They were probably agitated by other things going on that added fuel to the South Stand, it was on fire.
Jarrod O'Connor
I think we'll keep playing, Jarrod, yeah. Jarrod played really well. He had a couple of moments he would like back which was uncharacteristic with his defensive movements. But he's a great team-mate, he wants to play for other people and the name on the front of the jersey not the one on the back. He's selfless, he's fit, he competes hard and he's starting to trust himself more. He's got plenty to work on, he knows Corey Johnson is right on his heels, he's a more natural dummy half, so those guys are good mates and want to challenge each other.
Corey Johnson
He's a player. He likes how we want him to play. He did some great things last year in tough conditions, he had some back issues, he played at Magic and covered the most distance but was really hampered by his body. He's lean, it's very early days but in my head, he's a real prospect for the short-term and long-term. He's battled hard to get that opportunity and that will be the first of many more.
