Everything Ola Jordan ate in a day to drop three dress sizes in four months

Ola Jordan dropped a whopping three dress sizes in just four months in a bid to completely overhaul her lifestyle - while her husband James also shed over three stone in a matter of months.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, 40, went from a size 14 to a size eight in just four months after discovering that her health was at risk due to her weight.

Ola admitted that she desperately longed for her former dancer body and doubted if she would ever feel 'sexy' again after welcoming her first child in 2020 and gaining weight during the pandemic.

However, after she and James turned their life around with exercise and a healthy diet, Ola has dropped over three stone in just a matter of weeks and the couple feel like brand-new people.

But how did they do it?

The couple cut down their calorie intake significantly, with James eating only 1,900 calories a day, while Ola topped hers at 1,500.

While James would have Nutella and banana pancakes for breakfast, his wife often opted for avocado on toast.

For lunch on most days, James opted for an omelette while Ola made it a ritual to have a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich on brown bread.

For dinner every evening, James and Ola would both opt for some variation of fish with lots of vegetables - skipping on the carbs for their final meal of the day.

In terms of exercising, the former Strictly Come Dancing professionals put their dancing skills to the test every day, as well as different ab workouts and strength training.

Lifting the lid on her life-changing health journey, Ola revealed: "I feel like I've lost a whole person. A size 14 was my biggest. I'm quite short as well so a size 14 for some people isn't big and that's the problem with weight and sizes because some people say a 14 isn't big," she explained.

"But being 5ft3 and a size 14 is big. I'm a size eight now. I missed my old self. There's nothing wrong with admitting it," she added to Mail Online.

The former Strictly star went on: "People now preach body positivity, and they accept it, but I really missed my old self and that's not just my body it was with dance and everything else. Health is important for me, and I want to stay healthy for as long as I can."

Speaking last month, Ola and her husband James admitted they were encouraged to lose weight after having a 'wake-up call' when they shared an 'unflattering' picture of themselves in swimsuits this summer.

Both sharing the same post online, the couple's weight loss was clear to see as they walked towards the camera in the same outfit before and after losing the weight - with Ola donning a pink bikini and James shirtless in nothing but a pair of cream shorts.

"Hey watch us lose 6 1/2 Stone in 6 seconds!" James and Ola began with their message to their fans on Instagram.

"It took a bit longer than that in reality - four months in total. Although the first two weeks were quite dramatic. We lost 2 Stone between us in a fortnight. Pretty crazy eh?! But we had a lot to lose and you always lose more in the first couple of weeks."

The couple had previously spoken candidly about their weight loss - admitting an unflattering snap of themselves wearing swimwear was the motivation behind their transformation.
