Everything new coming to Netflix in July - aside from Stranger Things

Another month means another bumper crop of new Netflix movies and shows – including the eagerly anticipated epic finale to the fourth season of Stranger Things.

But the sci-fi blockbuster isn't the only thing the streaming platform has to offer, with more fab films, documentaries, stand-up shows and TV series than you can shake a very big stick at.

For starters there's four thrilling instalments of the dark fantasy Underworld horror franchise, where Kate Beckinsale and chums are caught up in a thrilling war between vampires and werewolves.

And speaking of blood, prepare to see plenty of it in Cult of Chucky, as the titular demonic doll wreaks his unpleasant revenge on a horde of old enemies.

If that's a little unpalatable then Italian romance movie Under the Amalfi Sun could be more your style, whisking you away to a truly gorgeous part of the country.

There's more trouble in Hawkins in season four of Stranger Things (Netflix)

Elswhere there's The Most Hated Man on the Internet, about one mum's crusade against a self-proclaimed “professional life ruiner” - and mastermind behind a notorious ‘revenge porn’ hub. Or there's thought-provoking drama The Father, which sees Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman star in this touching tale about an older man struggling to deal with his advancing years.

Throw in a load of comedy gold such as the latest from American stand-up Bill Burr , fun kids' shows like Barbie and a whole raft of intriguing documentaries from space flight to surfing and July's Netflix offering is as hot as the weather!
