'Everything' - Gillingham send Bolton warning as Neil Harris comments on Wanderers January spend

Neil Harris has warned Bolton they will face a Gillingham team which will display 'absolutely everything' in a bid to pick up three points as he believes Wanderers flexed their financial muscles in January with their recent business.

The Gills host Wanderers at Priestfield this Saturday as Bolton will aim to return to winning ways following the 2-0 loss to MK Dons.

Wanderers sit 10th in the League One table while the Kent side are in the relegation zone as things stand.

But the Gills are now just three points from safety following the 2-0 win on the road over the weekend against Lincoln City, though the sides immediately above Gillingham have a game in hand on them.

Wanderers raided the Gills for their captain Kyle Dempsey as one of seven acquisitions during the January transfer window and the midfielder could start versus his old side this Saturday.

Speaking after the win over the Imps, Harris feels his side will be taking on a big football club in the form of Wanderers who have financial backing as was demonstrated in January.

But Harris believes Ian Evatt's side will take on a Gills outfit which will show 'absolutely everything' in a bid to pick up three points as the former Cardiff City and Millwall boss warned Wanderers they will face a team in good form when they arrive at Priestfield.

He said: "Bolton have done very well. We'd seen them against Wimbledon, seen them against Lincoln as they'd played the game prior to us, so we've seen a lot of them already. They're a good side, a really good technical football team.

"They've spent heavily in January on transfer fees as we know from Kyle (Dempsey) going there, but also on wages as well. It's just another team that's got a big infrastructure, a big football club at this level, they've got the funds to back it up by name and bank balance.

"They're coming to Priestfield, it's our home, we've got seven points in four and we look forward to the challenge.

"What you're going to see from my team next week is absolutely everything - desire and attitude and a will to want to win. That goes without saying and hopefully more turn up next week because they've now seen a team that they can believe in.

"5,000 people are going to turn up and see a team that they know what they're going to get when they turn up and win, lose or draw, they know what they're going to get from their players.

"It's hard not to see the table when you've got Sky Sports on everyday and my wife is telling me to turn it off when I'm at home! I can say I've not seen the results and I focus on the next game, but I'd be lying if I said I don't.

"I look at the league table and the fixtures and who is playing who, of course I do, I'm a football man and I'm passionate about my job and I want to be successful.

"But I've come for the long-term and I want to win the next game, I want to win every game, so I don't look too far ahead because I just want to beat Bolton next week."
