Roy Keane has shocked football by appearing clean shaved on Sky Sports' coverage of the League Cup semi-final first leg between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
Keane's moustache had been causing quite a stir on social media in recent weeks ever since he first sported it during the latter stages of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Irishman's appearance was even more surprising given his most traditional facial hairstyle is the full beard which we have become accustomed to over the years.

But the moustache is no more and Keane is once again clean shaven. Unsurprisingly, Keane's sudden change of appearance got people talking on social media.
'Where's Roy Keane's moustache gone?' said Kelly.
While Randy said, 'What's happened to Roy Keane's moustache!?'
Another user named Alex hilariously wondered 'Was Roy Keane just growing his moustache whilst United weren’t losing?'
One more user said they were 'fuming' that Keane had shaved off the moustache.
So long Roy Keane's moustache, we hardly knew you.
