It’s pretty easy to be a sneakerhead when you’re rich. You’ve got money. You’ve got resources. You’ve got connections. So, of course, you can get pretty much any shoe you want — that’s how it usually works, anyway.
That’s especially the case when you’re an athlete and you’re actually endorsed by a brand. You’ll definitely get all the sneakers you want. You pretty much are the plug at that point.
So it isn’t surprising at all that Odell Beckham Jr.’s old sneaker closet in Ohio looks like this. This kind of feels like what a Nike athlete’s sneaker closet should look like.
How many pairs do you think @obj has in his closet? 😮💨 pic.twitter.com/qVE0Hy46Qa

It looks exactly like one of those resale stores that we all see occasionally in our local malls where the shoes are $300 and up. It’s completely ridiculous and over the top.
He’s even got racks of clothes in the middle of the floor, art on the walls and skateboard decks along with that. Does Odell even skate? Who knows. He definitely has the aesthetic down though.
This man could easily just plop a cash register somewhere down there and run a pretty profitable operation out of his closet. I’m not even calling this a closet anymore. This is a warehouse. A store. A shop.
I’m not the only one who caught this vibe, either. Everyone saw it and thought the same thing.
