Congratulations on the win and a very good performance, but I just wanted to ask what the incident involving Antonio Rudiger was about in the second half?
"I just heard about this some minutes ago, I was not aware of this during the match. I thought there was something going on against his direct opponent. It was during a corner or a free-kick I think.
"I have zero information for you, not because I don't want to give you any but because I have nothing to say about it."
Was Hakim Ziyech's goal the best you've seen since becoming Chelsea head coach?
"It was a very nice goal actually. The build-up to the goal was good, the movements around Hakim to bring him into this position, and the shot was, of course, brilliant.
"It was one of the very nice goals so far and I am very happy because he deserves it first of all today. It was a very important goal to get the lead and so well done, excellent."
Four at the back and you had a lot of players in their half throughout the game, is this the way forward?
"It's one way forward. We tried a 4-1-4-1 formation today because we tried a 4-4-2 against them in the first match and that gave us an advantage but then they reacted to it in the second match.
"We thought maybe it could be an approach to give the players a solution after the last matches and we had the players for the formation, players in shape, players who wanted and should be on the pitch, and good positions for them.
"It gives us more options than only playing a 3-4-3 and we don't decide now, but it was well done."
Is this the type of performance you expect from Hakim Ziyech, should this be the platform for him to go from?
"It was one of his best matches today because he was very reliable. It was also maybe his best position to be on the wing. We had the wide position on the right wing, that position does not normally exist in that particular manner when we play 3-4-3, it is more of a wing back.
"Maybe we can think about doing this. It was good because it gave him the opportunity to take risks where it was possible to take risks. He was very reliable on the ball in moments where it is necessary.
"The work rate was always outstanding. You can always rely on him on work rate and counter-pressing. So yes, well done and he needs to keep on going like everyone else."
Without Reece James and Ben Chilwell available, is this the system that gives you width?
"Yes, but we changed a bit the tactics in the first match against Tottenham and they adapted to it. We thought it could give us solutions to escape the high pressing, put the game in the opponent's half, and have a bit more width without having wing backs.
"Trevoh [Chalobah] had only one training session and Andreas Christensen, a key player, was not available. For a back three, you need three central defenders and two wings backs.
"We thought today that we could play in a 4-1-4-1 to cause them problems. The deal did well and it gives us another option so well done."
We've seen a few incidents of supporters overstepping the mark, either by coming onto the pitch or throwing things from the stands. Are you or your players worried?
"I’m not worried. I mean I sent a message to our fans and supporters [before the game] that we love to have them close to the pitch. We love that it is a brilliant atmosphere, that they are not behind fences, behind nets, whatever. From there everybody needs to show respect and behave and follow guidelines.
"In general, I am not concerned because right now I enjoy the atmosphere, also in away stadiums, it is brilliant and if this is a new trend we should act together so it stops as soon as possible to protect the environment of this game and the atmosphere because it is absolutely unique here in England."
