What's the latest team news?
"We had training today with everybody out on the pitch except for Ben Chilwell, which is brilliant news And this is pretty much it."
Are Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic ok?
"They are both ok since today. They were not out on the pitch with separate programmes, everybody joined tram training from the first to the last minute. We have until now only positive reactions and I hope it stays like this, we have another training tomorrow, to have everybody available for Sunday."
How's Romelu Lukaku been this week after a difficult few days?
"I would say good, like everybody else. You know, I know, he's an important player, if you pay a lot of money these days for one single player there's a lot of focus on the player.
"If you allow yourself to zoom a little bit out he played a lot of consecutive matches from the start for us. Maybe we have a little bit the same situation for example with Jorginho, who is one of our captains and did not play too much from the beginning lately, because we feel him a bit tired, mentally tired.
"But the focus is hugely on Romelu, but the situation is more or less the same for Jorginho. Sometimes it's not fair, sometimes it's a bit too much.
"Both of them understand themselves as team players, and I understand the huge focus, but the things inside are very clear, the decisions are made clear, the players accept them. And once you play for Chelsea you accept that the team comes first.
"That's why there's no hard feelings, not from Romelu, not from me and not from anyone else. There were a lot of players who wanted to be on the pitch in the last matches but who have not played because only 11 can start. That will never change."
There were headlines in the Italian newspapers that Lukaku was unsettled, but that has since been played down. Is that how you understand it?
"I did not read the headline and was absolutely not aware of the reaction. This is maybe the best thing to do. I trust my players and their focus.
"On the other hand, what other choice is there? There is no transfer period right now and everybody is hugely involved in the goals that we want to achieve together.
"The truth is we can only achieve them together, and we can only achieve them with a strong Romelu, a strong Jorginho, a strong everybody.
"If everybody plays their role to the top level then we can be a very strong team and we can fulfil our dreams. And that is the point. So there is absolutely no need now to get distracted and to read these headlines, and get carried away by these headlines.
"It's very calm at the moment, we get quality back in the group, injured players back in the group and this is what helps when we take care of the daily process."
The Champions League final is going to be moved from Saint Petersburg after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, is that the right thing to do?
"Yes. A clear yes, and sadly I think it's the worse reason to change a location. The absolutely worst reason. We feel horrible about it in general, it clouds our minds and focus, of course. We can absolutely understand the decision.
"At the moment, we don't think so much about it [the Champions League final]. It's nice you mentioned it and it's like this the last two because of coronavirus. We thought that this was not good news and now we have even worse news.
'There are things more important the focus from us, in general, sporting and globally speaking is not on the [Champions League] final."
Will Kepa start in goal on Sunday?
"First of all, I will not tell you. We will take the decision late, but you have a reason to ask the question.
The last competition – the Club World Cup – was a very short competition. Kepa played the semi-final and got us to the final and then we took the decision for Edou (Mendy) coming back from the African Cup of Nations [to start the final.
"It's a pretty similar situation now. The very last decision we will take after training, as always. There's no need to take the decision now when we have one more training ahead.
"Kepa did fantastic in the period where we had to be without Edou, and so it's an uncomfortable and very comfortable situation at the same time."
Does he deserve to play, or can you not get sentimental about it?
"This is both very easy to answer: he absolutely deserves to play and I cannot get sentimental about it. I have to do what in the end is in my opinion the very best solution for the team. I know that this position is a very sensitive position.
"If Kepa was a player in the field like the other ten players we would not have these discussions, we would just be full of praise and he would feel it with minutes.
"So now he is in this one position where you don't make a lot of changes, but still he, would absolutely deserve it and at the same time I will not be sentimental about the position."
How much do you enjoy coming up against Jurgen Klopp and do you speak regularly?
"No, we don't speak regularly. Enjoy playing against teams coached by Jurgen? It's not only pure pleasure because they give you a hard time and we're facing him with a very strong Liverpool team, off a very strong run of results, and in brilliant results. So, it's a big challenge but it's a big occasion and we feel competitive regarding our last matches with Liverpool.
"This is what we want to continue. In the end, and you know what I mean, it's a pleasure to meet him and be in a final at Wembley again. I am very grateful for that."
What do you say to the players when it comes to these big occasions?
"It's not decided yet but I think, and we say a lot about the daily process, I don't think you take care of the final the day before or on the day of the final. You take care of the final on a daily basis when nobody is thinking about the final.
"This is what brings you there. The closer you get, the more routine, the more behaviours, and principles must be installed: that you can trust yourself, that you can be free because in the end the tension is growing. We try to give less information and trust ourselves.
"It's not the moment to do crazy things and crazy talks. But even that changes from occasion to occasion, feeling to feeling. How do you feel about your team? What was the approach? Who is the opponent? But I don't want to give you any more insight."
Liverpool have the form behind them, maybe they are even favourites. Does that help you?
"I don't know but maybe 51% or 55% they are the favourites because of recent form and results. But we all know, like when we were favourites against Lille, that they would play to their full level, that they will play the role of underdog and will not accept it as a disadvantage.
"Neither do we. We have things to trust on and have experienced tight, tight matches against Liverpool. I think the last three were all draws but that will not happen at Wembley. We will find a winner somehow and we know very well what it takes to have a tough match against them.
"We are confident we have everything it takes and we have to show it. I think it's the same for them and it will be nice to have a match like this in the final."
Is Reece James available for Sunday, could he feature and if so how much of a boost would that be?
"A very, very good question. Even if I wanted to, I'm not sure I could answer it right now. He looked brilliant in the last two training sessions, let's wait another session and let's see if I'm crazy enough to put him on the pitch or if the reasonable side of me wins in the end and we go step by step.
"It would be a huge step but honestly today, he looked so strong, so confident, and so involved in training that I am tempted to do it. Let's see. We have a bit of time and the most important thing is he's back and he feels confident that he can step up a level like he did yesterday and today.
"There are still two days to go and then we will take the decision."
Has Kai Havertz done enough to justify a start up front?
"Has he done enough to justify? That is a clear yes. Does that mean he needs to start and will start? No.
"We will also decide this later. It will depend on how much he played, what we need, what characters we want to fill the positions. But has he done enough in the last weeks? Absolutely yes."
