What did you make of the game?
The way we started we were electric. We were so determined, incisive, scored two good goals and created chances and didn’t allow anything to happen around our box. And after that the red card presented a different match. They completely changed their behaviour and how they were set up and we had to manage that in a different way. For a lot of phases we did well but we needed to score the third goal and we had the chances to do that. Then the accident happened when we conceded a set piece goal and then some nerves had to be handled.
It wasn’t taking our foot off the gas. It was just to try to play the game that we have to in that phase. We showed a lot of maturity not to rush things and concede breaks. But we didn’t find the net in key moments to have a different last 20 minutes.
Is there extra motivation to get top four at Tottenham now?
We are going to go for that match with the same enthusiasm that we always do but knowing that this can be a defining moment and that can be another layer of motivation for us to really go for it. I can’t wait for the game.

Is there an offer for Nketiah still on the table?
Eddie is doing what he has done all season. He has been very consistent with his performance and how little he is giving away. Let him be. Let him enjoy the moment because he completely deserves it and things will happen naturally.
You've not been convincing in the past few matches but is it just about getting wins at this stage of the season?
We are finding ways to win matches. The way we played for the first 35 minutes was brilliant. Under pressure to play we are doing under pressure in front of our people is credit to them. But you always have an opponent and the context changes throughout the game and you don’t expect to always be on top for 95 minutes. We are getting better and dealing with it because we are winning matches.
Is it all about handling the nerves now?
Hopefully not but when you look at the other games you see a lot of that because now is the defining moment when a goal can change a whole season and that plays on the back of the mind. But I didn’t see any of that at the start of the game.
Is Bukayo ok?
Yeah, he was fine.
Is your finishing letting you down?
This is football, if you look at what happened a few days ago in Madrid, nobody can explain. This is the beauty of the game and suffering - unfortunately for all of us, especially the managers - is part of it.
Is there a chance for Ben White on Thursday?
I think so, he’s started to do a little bit of work on the pitch and we want everyone available for that game because it’s so important.
Was playing Tomiyasu at left back to prepare for what you'll do at Spurs?
No, it was for today. We can’t do things in advance, we do it for now and believed it was the right thing to do on that side, especially with what Leeds had down that side.
How's the spirit in the camp?
Really good, really positive, but at the same time really humble because we know nothing has been achieved yet and we know there’s a lot of minutes for what we want to do.
What happened with Pepe and Stuivenberg at the end?
No, probably, when you see he’s got an empty net in front of him and he’s taking a touch backwards, you can’t really understand but you have to have the perception of playing in that moment, they are the ones making that decision and fortunately we didn’t need that goal.
