Tim Edwards said he hopes the man who murdered his daughter and his friend who assisted him "never see another Christmas again".
Connor Chapman, 23, was found guilty of murdering 26-year-old beautician Elle Edwards as she enjoyed an evening with family and friends at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village. Chapman fired 12 shots from a Skorpion sub-machine gun at a group of people stood by the front entrance of the pub.
On Thursday, July 6, after a three and a half week trial at Liverpool Crown Court, a jury found Chapman unanimously guilty of the murder of the 26-year-old, attempted murder of Mr Salkeld and Mr Duffy, wounding with intent of Mr Loughran and Mr Carr and assault occasioning actual bodily harm of Mr Speed.
Elle's dad, Tim Edwards, punched the air with delight as the verdict was delivered. Other members of the family were heard to cry “yes”, and several burst into tears.

After Justice Goose asked for the two defendants to be taken down to the cells Tim Edwards was heard saying “you coward” as they left the dock.
Speaking outside court, Mr Edwards said: "We got the result we wanted, justice for Elle. That's what it's always been about.
"Those two cowards in there decided to drag it out for four weeks, put all these people through that and everyone else around it, involved in the case. I can't thank the police enough for what they did, and we got there in the end, the right result.
"I hope them two never see another Christmas again ever in their lives. I've had my eyes on him for four weeks and he has not looked at me once because he's a coward; that's exactly what he is.
"I couldn't care less about him. I'll never, ever mention his name.
"I hope he rots in hell. It's a big relief because now we can start again.
"We've been through hell and we deserve now to be given a life back that we had before, which will never be the same. It's now a new chapter, it's a new beginning for our family.
"It's the worst day, but the best of the worst days."
Justice Goose announced he would pass a sentence at 2pm on Friday, July 6. Elle's dad is expected to speak again outside court after Chapman and Waring are sentenced.
