Every word David Moyes said on West Ham's Premier League clash with Newcastle and Kurt Zouma

Has Storm Eunice caused any disruption for you?

A little bit because it is pretty bad but overall not too much we've been okay. We've managed to miss the worse of it hopefully. Obviously, it is bad for everybody and it's not the best situation.

What is the current situation in regards to the investigation with Kurt Zouma as there has been some misleading information? Can you provide some clarity?

Can you clarify what you mean by misleading because we have been incredibly clear and concise in everything we have said. What does misleading mean?

Misleading reports in the press not by West Ham.

I don't know exactly where and when the money goes but what I do know is there is an investigation going on at the moment, it takes time and then I am guessing that is when the money will be passed over but I am not an expert on that. I do not think there is anything from this football club or me that has been misleading at all.

How is the atmosphere in the squad?

The atmosphere has always been good here. I think one of the biggest last week against Leicester to come from behind and we showed it even against Kidderminster, we still needed resilience and a good team spirit to make sure it happened. We keep bobbing along and we want to improve our performances but we have a really good spirit amongst the club.

Has Zouma recovered from illness and is he available tomorrow?

He is better but it has taken him a couple of days to get over it. He had quite a bad sickness and illness but he has trained the last couple of days so I am hoping he will be available.

How is he mentally at the moment? Is he in a good place?

I think he is probably really disappointed about what he has done and is thinking about it a lot no doubt. But overall we are trying to get him to move on and we want him to concentrate him on his training. He played very well against Watford the other week so we are hoping if we can keep him at those level of performances we will be really pleased with that.

He is really well-liked here amongst the supporters with his performances he has put in throughout the season already. So hopefully he can focus on his football and we will give him as much support as we can until we get him right back to his best.

Any injury or selection worries?

We have one or two doubts and questions marks over some players who have picked up some injuries but obviously I will not give that away but we have just like every other club we have one or two injuries at the moment.

What do you make of the job Eddie Howe has done?

First and foremost it has been a really difficult job to stabilise a club the size of Newcastle with all the changes and expectations at the club.

I think Eddie is a really good steady hand and is someone who can build a football club. He has an idea about how he wants to play, he has a really good reputation in the manager's circle because of the good work he did at Bournemouth. He has a really big club in Newcastle who have big expectations, their results recently have been good they have brought in new signings which has helped. They are a much tougher task than they were at the start of the season but I have to say with Newcastle anytime is a tough task and we will need to be at our best to get a result.

How much of a blow will missing Kieran Trippier be for Newcastle?

Kieran Trippier is a really good player whether it was playing for Newcastle or anybody else. He is a good full-back and his set-pieces and delivery are good. It will be a miss, what he has done is given them help, momentum and they will be hoping to keep that going. Our job is to get our form going again and keep our decent run going.

How much of a concern is Michail Antonio's form?

I want him to get on the goalscoring sheet regularly. But as a club it is not a problem as we're still fourth in the Premier League as goals scored goes. So we are really fortunate. We have other people who have stepped up with goals in different areas in the team. Generally, any football manager would probably want the goals to be shared around because it shows you can score from different areas.

I want to get Mich back to the levels because he's really important for the team. Even last week at Leicester he did not get a goal but I am just beginning to see little bits which are giving us encouragement he's getting back and I don't think it'll be too long before he's back on the scoresheet.

Is Jarrod Bowen in contention for tomorrow?

I wouldn't give anything away. We have a couple of knocks. All clubs will have them, I don't we want to focus. We have one or two who are doubt and we just need to make sure we can be ready for tomorrow.

What is it that your side are not producing at the moment from earlier in the season?

I think our attacking paid off more [earlier in the season]. The things we did at the time worked a lot easier.

We've not found it quite as easy at the moment, but we still score goals, it just hasn't felt that way to me. Two or three individual players just haven't quite played at the levels, but defensively, I was disappointed we conceded two goals at Leicester.

Conceding no goals would give us a good chance of winning, so we have to try and get stronger defensively. I'm really pleased with the goals we are scoring and I think if we can find some top form in the run-in, it'll put us in really good stead for where we want to finish this season.

You have picked up the most points from losing positions, is that encouraging?

It shows exactly what we have, a group who are driven and determined. We have to look to improve every game and every season. We took four points off Leicester would generally be seen as a pretty good return.

Personally, my expectations have grown from what I want from the players. I think the manager's job is to try and grow expectations and I think we're doing that here. We've got a lot of big games to come in the coming weeks and months.

What game are you expecting?

I think they have become a much more balanced team. I think they have got a formation at the moment which is helping them. They have players playing in roughly positions which suit them and it has given them a good chance, as well as confidence and momentum which is a big thing in football and they are probably looking and saying we are out of trouble and have a chance of getting away from it.

Do you feel sympathy for Eddie Howe because he started to get good results but you can imagine the injury to Kieran Trippier is going to affect their performance?

Well, I hope it does affect their performances. We have injuries to Angelo Ogbonna for example which makes a difference. That is part of football and you find ways to get through it. Obviously when you bring in a new player you want them to be fit and okay but it is part and parcel of it. So I hope tomorrow it does have some effect.

You have scored in every home game this season, is that where you will pick up vital points?

It's a really simple equation. We look as if we can score. We've had some games where we've maybe not been quite as sharp or ruthless, but us tightening up defensively will be really important.

I still feel the fluidity in the early part of the season we're still to get back through our midfield and our front line. When we are not quite at our best we need defenders to get us through the game and make sure to keep you in a position where we can win.

Is Bowen getting better and better?

He has stepped up when we needed him, his goals and assists have been great. So now what we want from Jarrod is consistency but he has become a little bit more in control of himself and an understanding of the all-round situation, his finishing has become very good recently and he is in good form, we talk about confidence and Jarrod is in a really good being of confidence which is important for the forward players.
