Similar story to the weekend? Lots of shots, lots of possession, no goals.
Yes. We created enough chances to win the game, two goals disallowed. It's execution. The chances, the boys gave everything, they played with the heart and you can't ask for more.
Any theories about why they can't take their chances?
Obviously they are executions, executions and they are in front of goal. They are human beings and the confidence has to be there. Sometimes when goes in, after there is a consequence. We just need to keep helping the boys and they've been through a lot, it's been a tough season for them. As I said they are human beings, still I know they miss chances. What they could effect the most was the attitude and the effort

Do you see it in training?
They score a lot of goals in training. Coming to a game is completely different. It is something that yes, we've been speaking and we've been working on it and we need to keep going.
How tough have the last 48 hours been for the players, and how good is it that N'Golo Kante could start the game?
It's been really difficult for them because it isn't the first time they've been in this situation this season. As a player you invest a lot in the managers as well. Great relationships Graham and the players and they suffer as well. Graham has been really supportive of them after leaving and you could see that on the pitch today. The boys gave everything, they fought.
About NG, it's a massive impact for the boys, you could see for the fans as well. He makes players around him even better.
How did you find tonight, was it strange for you or did you enjoy it?
Truly difficult to enjoy. It's been really difficult, sad, disappointing but I've been trying to focus on being the best professional myself, trying to help the boys, be supportive, focusing hour by hour, day by day.
With three wingers on the bench, why was Gallagher first sub?
Because NG is coming back from an injury and our duty as coaches as well is to protect players.
Are any of the players not in the squad injured [outside of Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago SIlva?
All fit, just Bettinelli is doing some recovery but the rest are fit.
The main changes seemed to be a three-man midfield and greater urgency, how well did it work?
It was a four-midfield because Joao was more as a 10. We wanted it to look more like a diamond and it's something that we have been working on and just trying to understand the spaces. The boys did really well, we had possession, we had counter-attacks. We impacted the game. It's not been a massive change just personal and NG effects the game a lot.
As things stand do you expect to be in charge against Wolves?
As it stands, I expect to go home and rest and focus on day by day and the owners, they know that the staff are going to be the most professional we can and we're going to try to represent this club as best we can. We know the standards here, we know the demand and that's what we try to do all the time.
What did the sporting directors say to the players yesterday?
They tried to describe the situation, trying to be supportive with the players. That's it. It's not an easy situation for anyone. We just need to be together and communicate well.
