The Denver Broncos have reached eight Super Bowls in their history. Only one team (the New England Patriots with 11 appearances) has played in more Super Bowls.
The Broncos’ eight appearances are tied for second-most with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. Behind them are the Kansas City Chiefs with six appearances, followed by a half-dozen teams with five appearances.
Unfortunately, the Broncos have only won three Super Bowls, which is tied for eighth-most in the league. The Steelers and Patriots are tied with six each, followed by the 49ers and Cowboys (five) and then the Chiefs, Giants and Packers (four).
Denver is tied with the Washington Commanders and Las Vegas Raiders with three titles. Five teams have won two Super Bowls and five teams have won a single Super Bowl. The first Super Bowl was played in 1967, featuring the NFL’s champion against the AFL’s champion.
