Every song on the 'Queen Charlotte' soundtrack: your favorite tunes get a Regency remix

Corey Mylchreest as Young King George, India Amarteifio as Young Queen Charlotte in episode 106 of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

Unsurprisingly, the Queen Charlotte soundtrack is fit for royalty, but we'd expect nothing less from the Bridgerton spinoff

Now that Her Highness (played by India Amarteifio) and King George (Corey Mylchreest) have embarked on their romance—which is said to be the best story in the Bridgerton series yet—we're planning to indulge in all of the music that accentuates one of Netflix's best love stories. And what better way to tell said story than with the likes of Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and SZA?

"It was important to honor Queen Charlotte with her own musical palette… and that felt like Charlotte’s essence," Alexandra Patsavas, the show's music supervisor, told Netflix Tudum

For those who aren't inclined to listen? We send you nothing but "sorrows, sorrows and prayers."

Every song on the 'Queen Charlotte' soundtrack:

According to Netflix Tudum, the Queen Charlotte soundtrack intends to be a homage to songs by Black women. From orchestral renditions of popular hits by the likes of Whitney Houston and Beyoncé to a rerecorded version of "If I Ain’t Got You" by Alicia Keys—which features a first-of-its-kind orchestra made up of more than 70 women of color—each track fulfills its promise.

“Alicia’s participation is so thrilling for this project,” Patsavas added. “It’s just gorgeous in a beautiful Bridgerton sort of setting, with the costumes and the immensely talented women.”

If you're in need of a few orchestral pieces for your Spotify playlist, do have a look at the following songs on the soundtrack:

  1. “Halo” (Beyoncé cover) by Brian Chan and Caleb Chan
  2. “If I Ain’t Got You” (Alicia Keys cover) by Vitamin String Quartet
  3. “Déjà Vu” (Beyoncé cover) by Audiostation
  4. “Run the World” (Beyoncé cover) by Brian Chan and Caleb Chan
  5. “Nobody Gets Me” (SZA cover) by Brian Chan and Caleb Chan
  6. “I Will Always Love You” (Whitney Houston cover) by Vitamin String Quartet
  7. "A Feeling That I've Never Been" by Kris Bowers, Tayla Parx
  8. "If I Ain't Got You (feat. Queen Charlotte's Global Orchestra) - Orchestral, Alicia Keys

Our other favorite songs from 'Bridgerton' soundtracks:

The Bridgerton season 2 soundtrack put a classical spin on other popular tracks, including "Sign of the Times" by Harry Styles (performed by Steve Horner) and "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus (performed by Midnight Street Quartet), but we were particularly enamored with Alanis Morissette's Bridgerton version of "You Oughta Know.

Meanwhile, the steamy debut season featured renditions of "thank u, next," by Ariana Grande, "bad guy" by Billie Eilish and "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift to kickstart the Duke of Hastings and Daphne Bridgerton's romance.

All in all? We'd highly recommend you don't skip out on anything in the Bridgerton universe—music included!

Queen Charlotte is now streaming now on Netflix. And if you can't stay away from Regency romance, here's all the intel on Bridgerton season 3. If you're in need of a beach read, grab a copy of Queen Charlotte by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes (available on Amazon).
