It promises to be a busy summer for Cardiff City as Steve Morison looks to rebuild and reshape his squad ahead of the new season.
The City boss has hinted that some deals have already been agreed in principle, and the whirring of the rumour mill will likely step up a notch once the final whistle is blown on Cardiff's curtain call at Derby County this weekend.
A number of names have already been linked with a move to south Wales. Some very well known, others not so. Here's a quick look at all of those mentioned so far....

Gareth Bale
We'll start with the big one, shall we? Gareth Bale has been linked to his hometown club for a little while now, with the bookies even installing the Bluebirds as favourites at one point. Bale is poised to finally leave Real Madrid, and Cardiff are one of several sides mentioned as a possible destination.
At first glance it seems unlikely. Cardiff are one of a number of Championship clubs set to significantly tighten their purse strings, and the idea of signing one of the world's most highly-paid footballers seems something of a stretch. Clearly Bale would need to make concessions on his current salary, which is currently believed to be around £580,000 a week.
Wales' bid to reach the World Cup in Qatar later this year could also be a big consideration. Should they fail to qualify, there's every chance Bale could consider hanging up his boots completely.
But if Wales do qualify for their first finals since 1958, Bale will surely need a new club. Interestingly, Cardiff have refused to deny the possibility of pulling off what would surely be the most sensational transfer in the history of Welsh football.
When quizzed on whether it could happen, chairman Mehmet Dalman recently told BBC Wales: "I have nothing to add [on Bale] to what you already know. Gareth Bale is going to do what Gareth Bale wants and we are willing listeners with open arms if he chooses to do that."
Strange things do happen.
Dylan Levitt
Another Wales international, the midfielder is out of contract at Manchester United this summer, and could possibly be on the move.
Reports have suggested his name has been mentioned in the capital, although sources at Cardiff have claimed that he's not currently on the radar as things stand. Levitt himself has recently said that he expects some movement on his future in the next couple of weeks, having enjoyed a successful loan spell at Dundee United this season.
Indeed, he's seemingly suggested that he'd be open to a return to Tannadice next term. He said: “It would be good to come back here but I’ll have to see what happens next season with the talks and stuff. The talks should be in the next couple of weeks but I haven't heard anything yet. I think in the next two or three weeks they have to say or contact me.”
Declan McManus
One of the hottest properties in the domestic Welsh game, the striker found the net over the weekend for The New Saints as they claimed the JD Welsh Cup against Penybont, ironically at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It remains to be seen whether McManus will be playing his football in the capital every week, although sources have indicated that Cardiff are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs.
Mahlon Romeo
A name that's been mentioned a couple of times over the last few weeks, the defender looks set to join a new club this summer, having spent the season on loan at Portsmouth.
Pompey boss Danny Cowley has seemingly already admitted defeat in terms of keeping the 26-year-old, who looks set to remain in the Championship. However, there's every chance he will be leaving The Den this summer.
Lions manager Gary Rowett told the South London Press : “I’ve heard other managers talk about our player, which is understandable. The expectation is that I think we’re open to offers in the summer, which is why Mahlon left us to go to Portsmouth. He wanted to play regular football.
“I’m pretty sure he will want to do the same again next season, ideally for him at a higher level. We’ll see what happens."
Josh Laurent
Was on the radar a couple of years ago before opting to join Reading, and appears to still have admirers in the capital.
Laurent's contract is up in Berkshire at the end of the season and, with the Royals keen to balance the books, is likely to be on his way at the end of the season. Cardiff are one of several clubs understood to have taken an interest, although they might well have a task on their hands if they are to land the midfielder.
Could Steve Morison's days playing with him at Shrewsbury bump Cardiff's chances a little? You'd like to think so.
Jak Alnwick
Cardiff are growing confident over landing the former Newcastle United goalkeeper this summer as they look to fill the void left the impending departure of Alex Smithies, who's one of a number of players out of contract next month.
Steve Morison has already confirmed that Smithies will be leaving south Wales, and it seems Alnwick is likely to come in as a replacement. Reports in Scotland have claimed that the St Mirren star has rejected approaches from Aberdeen and Hibernian to join the Bluebirds.
Given the positive noises coming out of the club, this one could well be among the first deals to be completed when the window re-opens.
Jed Wallace
A player well known to Morison, who recently admitted that he'd love to take his former Millwall team-mate to the capital.
The winger is coming to the end of his current deal in south London, and won't be short of takers should he decide to leave. The forward has caught the eye of West Bromwich Albion, while Nottingham Forest have also been mentioned as a possible destination.
Reports have even suggested that a move to Turkey could well be on the cards. In the face of such stiff competition, Cardiff will likely be pretty pessimistic about their chances of getting a deal done.
Cameron Brannagan
The former Liverpool youngster has been one of the stars of League One and was recently named the U's supporters’ player of the year and players’ player of the year. He's clearly a player that's caught the eye in the third tier, despite Oxford's play-off hopes falling by the wayside.
Reports have previously suggested that Cardiff were among those keen, but again it seems unlikely that Cardiff will be in the picture given that it will likely take a decent transfer fee to bring him to south Wales.
Ryan Allsop
The goalkeeper was a player understood to be on Cardiff City's radar this summer, however he pledged his allegiance to Derby County despite their relegation to League One.
There were a number of Championship clubs in for Allsop after the 29-year-old started the season as third choice in the east Midlands but forced his way into Wayne Rooney's team after Christmas.
Out of contract at the end of the campaign, he could leave for free but his recent comments hint that he wants to stay with the club. Speaking to the BBC, he said: “I’ve loved my time here and I don’t want that to end,” adding that he "hopes to get something sorted in the summer".
Andi Zeriqi
Another player Cardiff are understood to be keeping an eye on. The Swiss international has made 12 appearances for Brighton last year, but has spent this season on loan at Augsburg. Another loan spell could well be on the cards this summer.
He has netted two goals in the Bundesliga this season. Capped seven times by Switzerland, the striker is believed to be keen on playing regular football, having made half of his appearances for Augsburg from the bench.
One would suspect that he would have a pretty significant role to play for Cardiff next season should the Bluebirds succeed in landing the 22-year-old, given Jordan Hugill and Uche Ikpeazu are both leaving to return to their parent clubs.
Aji Alese
The centre-back has played for England at every level from under-16s to under-20s, but has just a solitary Europa League appearance for West Ham to his name this term. He will surely be seeking a loan away to gain further first-team experience, having already enjoyed stints at Accrington Stanley and Cambridge United.
The 6ft 3in defender has been a regular for West Ham's under-23s, who sit second in the Premier League 2 table behind only Manchester City, and Cardiff are believed to be keeping tabs on his progress.
Ebou Adams
The Forest Green Rovers midfielder is another name understood to be on the radar, and is out of contract this summer.
The 26-year-old has been a key part of Rob Edwards' side this term as they recently secured promotion to League One. Cardiff are clearly keen, but they aren't the only ones, with Blackpool recently submitting an approach of their own.
It would be something of a coup to get the midfielder, given as many as eight clubs from the Championship have registered an interest in signing him in the off-season.
