Every part of the Liverpool City Region has seen covid rates rise by at least a third.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the area of the Liverpool City Region that recorded the biggest week-on-week percentage change rise in infections was in Liverpool.

In Liverpool, there were 788 cases in the week ending June 19, which is 311 more than the previous week.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage change increase of 65% in Liverpool.
The increases in the individual areas of the Liverpool City Region were: 54% in Knowsley; 40% in Halton; 49% in St Helens; 32% in Wirral; and, 63% in Sefton.
In the Liverpool City Region overall, there was a week-on-week percentage change increase of 52%.
West Lancs, Cheshire West and Chester, and Warrington all logged increases in infections in the week ending June 19.
In England overall, the week-on-week percentage change figure rose by 30%.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 788 cases in the week ending June 19, which is 311 more cases than the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 65%. The latest infection rate was 157.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 462 cases in the week ending June 19, which is 113 more cases than in the previous seven days. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 32%. The latest infection rate was 142.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 233 positive tests over the last week - that's 66 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 40% in Halton in the week ending June 19. The latest infection rate is 179.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 293 cases in the week ending June 19, which is 96 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in St Helens is 161.8 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 49%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 225 cases in the week ending June 19, which is 79 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 147.6 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 54%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 478 cases in the week ending June 19, which is a 184 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate is 173.3 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases went up by 63% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 2,479 positive tests over in the week ending June 19, which is 849 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change went up by 52%. The latest infection rate is 145.59 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 321 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 19, which is 53 more cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure went up by 20%. There was an infection rate of 153.30 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 530 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 19, which is 142 more cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure increased by 37%. There was an infection rate of 154.15 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
There were 179 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 19, which is 61 more cases than the previous week. The latest infection rate in West Lancs is 156.34 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage increased by 52% in cases.
England
In the week ending June 19, England recorded 87,072 coronavirus cases, which is 20,181 more cases than in the previous seven days. The week-on-week percentage went up by 30% in England. There was an infection rate of 153.97 per 100,000 people.
