As we continue to inch closer to the 2023 NFL draft on April 27, our series of taking a look back at past draft picks in the Tennessee Titans’ current draft slots this year continues.
We now move on to Tennessee’s sixth-round pick, which comes at No. 186 overall, a spot the Titans have not chosen from in the past two decades. The Titans have a grand total of six picks, with one in every round but the fourth.
The Titans’ sixth-round pick comes from the Atlanta Falcons and was part of the trade that netted Tennessee wide receiver Julio Jones. That trade is also the reason the Titans don’t have a fourth-round pick this year.
Tennessee traded its original 2023 sixth-round pick in the Robert Woods deal — talk about a pair of trades that didn’t work out… But I digress.
Let’s see who has been drafted at No. 186 overall since 2000.
