Chelsea's season is all but over with only progression in the Champions League to play for. In more ways than one the attention is already turning to next season.
Not just in terms of squad makeup, transfers or jobs but also the commercial side too. Selling shirts and creating a true brand for the club is a key point for the new owners so therefore having a defined and attractive image on the pitch is only going to further this ambition.
One simple way to create this brand loyalty and image is to impress when it comes to the kit players are seen wearing. It is often around this time that concrete information comes out regarding the latest style and design of the next kit and this season is no different.

Here, football.london puts together everything we know already about the 2023/24 kit selection.
Home kit
As reported by footyheadlines, Chelsea are set to have another golden trimmed home kit, following on from their successful and popular 2005 and 2013 jerseys.
The kit is likely to include a golden club badge as well as Adidas logo with the main club and shirt sponsor also getting the guilded look too. There will be some light texturing to the top with a criss-cross pattern - though this is not yet confirmed.
An image posted on Twitter appears to show the kit in physical form too rather than just a concept design. It includes a sharp white edge to the sleeves and under-arm area too with a navy ring around the cuff too.
Away kit
A concept image of the kit shows a wild zig-zag pattern in navy and lighter blue, similar to the colours of Inter Milan. It also includes a colour change to the badge as well with a completely white background for the Chelsea crest and a golden outline.
The pattern on the top is yet to be confirmed but reports suggest it could be similar to the wavy and hipster design as used on the 201/22 kit which had a mesh of several differing styles.
Champions League hint
With the golden addition to the shirts for next season it could be a timely choice from the design team. Historically the champion colour has been used on commorative shirts, such as the centinery 2005 top, but also it has come the season after great success.
The aformentioned 2005 number was the year after the club's first top flight league title and gave a stunning look to their title defence that term. Meanwhile in 2012/13 the Champions League win was celebrated with the golden styled kit too.
If the decision to go gold has already been made then it's a push for Graham Potter and his men to make it special for a reason with the European trophy the only chance of claiming silverware left on offer.
