A full list of banned items for Liverpool’s On The Waterfront music festival has been revealed.
The event will run from tomorrow on Thursday June 29 to Sunday July 2. Merseyside acts Jamie Webster, Campelphat, The Coral and Red Rum Club and Manchester band James will be performing on the Pier Head.
The event’s organisers have warned however that a series of items will not be permitted. This is set out on the event's term and conditions and FAQs page, and the full list can be found below.

Strictly no illegal substances
Any items which the Promoter in its sole discretion considers may be used as weapons, or are otherwise deemed by the Promoter to be dangerous or inappropriate
Your own food and drink, including alcohol, apart from 1 x 500ml sealed bottle of water or an empty refillable water bottle
No smoking is permitted in enclosed public areas
No bags bigger than A4, with only one bag smaller than this per person allowed
Camping chairs
Large/golfing umbrellas - small umbrellas are allowed
Offensive and full face covering masks
‘Loose’ medication - for example a half empty blister pack of tablets is allowed with a valid prescription, but loose tablets are not
No animals apart from assistance dogs
No item of clothing which may cause offence, alarm or distress to others
All customers will be subject to bag and dog searches, and agreeing with this is a condition of entry and presence. There is no cloakroom or bag storage facility at the event. You must be 18 or over to attend the festival, and valid ID will be required upon entry along with your ticket.
