Xbox Game Pass is one of the key appeals of an Xbox console. A list of games you can play as much as you like, that takes a good long while just to scroll through, for not-that-much money a month? It's compelling.
However, it can seem the Xbox does not get as many exclusives as the PlayStation 5. Even though Microsoft owns a load of studios including Bethesda and Activision Blizzard.
We expect to see a bunch of Activision Blizzard titles come to the service in 2024. Microsoft’s acquisition was finalised last October. Activision Blizzard series include Diablo, Call of Duty and World of Warcraft.
Would you like to dip into the campaigns of the last few generations of Call of Duty, without paying a penny more than you currently do? It’s a possibility. But it’s not confirmed. Today we’re looking at the games that have been confirmed.
Some have specific dates. Most don’t. And after the main list we’ll drop trailers for some of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2024 we are looking forward to the most.

Here’s a closer look at some of the biggest Xbox Game Pass hitters coming in 2024.
Persona 3 Reload
Persona has become a lot more popular in the west since the original Persona 3 came out in 2006. This Reload version reworks the visuals, and adds mechanics seen in the more recent Persona games. Set some time aside as you’re likely to need 70 hours or more to complete this one.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2
This is the sequel to Hellblade: Senna’s Sacrifice, released all the way back in 2017. It’s a third-person action adventure that pushes at the limits of visual fidelity and facial animation.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl
This series is set in an alternative universe nuclear wasteland, and was a mainstay of 2000s first-person shooting. However, there hasn’t been a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game since 2009’s Call of Pripyat. It was intended for release in 2021 but delays, including one caused by a studio migration away from Ukraine, meant the date slipped into 2024.
Avowed
Obsidian Entertainment is making Avowed. It has a long history of working on RPGs, including Baldur’s Gate 2 in the 90s and The Outer Worlds more recently. It's a first-person RPG, set in a world shared with Pillars of Eternity. If you’re hungry for a new Skyrim, Avowed might satisfy.
