It was a quiet end to the summer transfer window for Crystal Palace with no new signings on deadline day.
Crystal Palace and boss Patrick Vieira have prioritised adding quality to their squad as opposed to quantity this summer, as the club look to improve on last season's 12th-place finish.
Palace's most eye-catching addition saw French midfielder Cheick Doucouré arrive for a fee of £20million from Lens, with the 22-year-old filling the gap vacated by Conor Gallagher's return to parent club Chelsea. The transfer of USMNT defender Chris Richards made headlines too, as the former Bayern Munich man penned a five-year deal at Selhurst Park.

England international Sam Johnstone strengthened Palace's goalkeeping options after his contract at West Bromwich Albion expired, whilst Malcolm Ebiowei also signed from Derby County, while Kofi Balmer joined the club's academy.
However, long-serving duo Christian Benteke and Martin Kelly both departed, joining DC United and West Bromwich Albion respectively as did Cheikhou Kouyaté who has signed for Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest.
