The socials are in.

Updated

GOAL! Leicester 0-2 Manchester United (Bizet, 80)

A dreadful mistake from Bott allows Bizet in and she calmly slots home a second.

Updated

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Hobson is on for Toni Payne, so that’s a defender for a striker. I think we can see how the final 10 minutes or so will play out.

Leicester 0-1 Man Utd: Bizet is sent through on goal but the goalkeeper is out quickly and stops the shot, the rebound falls to Clinton but Leicester scramble it clear.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Every blue shirt seems to be permanently behind the ball. It seems ill-advised to be this defensive so early in the game.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Hayashi is down with cramp, an indication of how much graft Everton have put in thus far.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Lots of lovely rain on Merseyside.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Kiernan flicks a Hinds cross towards the far corner but there is no pace on it and Brosnan grabs.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Everton gaffer Sorensen permanently has an earphone in and is now talking into his phone. The modern manager (plus baseball cap).

Leicester 0-1 Man Utd: The visitors are still on top but Leicester have threatened a few times.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: The reason it is not a penalty is because Smith is diving.

Updated

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Smith goes down in the penalty area but the referee is not interested.

Updated

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: An incredible double save from Brosnan keeps Everton in the lead. First Nagamo pings a shot from 12 yards which the goalkeeper does well to stop but the Liverpool midfielder reaches the rebound first and Brosnan dives at her feet to prevent an equaliser.

Updated

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Beard has his head in his hands after a word with the fourth official. I assume he is still angry over the penalty decision and I suspect the answers he’s receiving from the fourth official are inadequate.

Leicester 0-1 Man Utd: Bizet attempts an optimistic overhead kick and she does not nail it, sending the ball meekly wide.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Kiernan is penalised for a handball and she can have no complaints as her hands are well above her head.

We are back playing at Goodison and the King Power.

Full time! Aston Villa 3-2 Crystal Palace

Salmon wins it at the end with an incredible goal to earn Villa their first victory of the season.

Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace: Five minutes to go for the Eagles to find an equaliser.

United took a very late lead after dominating the first half.

Half time! Everton 1-0 Liverpool

A penalty is the difference but it never should have happened.

GOAL! Leicester 0-1 Manchester United (Terland, 45+3

Despite additional time being up, Terland is able to open the scoring with a looping header back across the goalkeeper.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool: Matthew Beard rightly has a good moan at the fourth official. With the naked eye, it looked half a yard outside the box and replays further prove it. No VAR, of course.

GOAL! Everton 1-0 Liverpool (Snoeijs, pen, 42)

Snoeijs sends the goalkeeper the wrong way to further punish Liverpool for some truly awful officiating.

Updated

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: PENALTY TO EVERTON! Hayashi is tripped outside the box but the referee away a penalty!

Leicester 0-0 Man Utd: Cain drives through the United defence and benefits from a ricochet in the box but someone sends her shot wide from six yards. She looks unhappy with herself.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: Those couple of chances for Everton seems to have given them an extra impetus and they have ramped up their press and energy levels.

Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace: Daly has a decent chance inside the box but a defender produces a fine block at the vital moment.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: Former Liverpool player Lawley whacks a drive from 20 yards, it is heading for the bottom corner until Micah fingertips it wide.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: After withstanding a lot of pressure, Everton’s Toni Payne leads a break before cutting in from the left and taking aim for the top corner, only to see her shot fly just wide.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: The visitors are first to everything at Goodison. They are playing at a far higher tempo than Everton, who are battling to cope.

Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace: It is the hosts who are on top in this one as they seek their first win over the season.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: The Toffees try to play out from the back but it almost ends in complete farce, only saved by a generous referee who gives a free-kick for a foul on the goalkeeper.

Leicester 0-0 Man Utd: Clinton should give United the lead when a cross finds her unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box but she complete misses the target.

Leicester 0-0 Man Utd: The Foxes cannot get out of their own half. They are under plenty of pressure.

Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace: We are off again at Villa Park!

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: It is all Liverpool at Goodison. Everton seem to be planning to cling on for as long as possible, which I guess is a type of plan.

Leicester 0-0 Man Utd: United are having the better of the opening minutes at the King Power without threatening.

Everton 0-0 Liverpool: The first chance of the match falls to Kiernan who pings a shot from 30 yards which does not dip in time as it flies over.

Peep! Peep! Peep! The whistles go to start the 3pm kick offs.

It was a fine turnaround for Villa thanks to Patten and Daly after going behind.

After Villa miss plenty of decent chances, Cato produces a hammer blow with a calm sidefooted shot into the corner to give Palace the lead.

Preamble

Welcome one and all! The focus of today’s action is the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park where winless Everton host Liverpool. It’s been a dreadful start to the season for the Toffees who have three points from seven matches and are very much underdogs against sixth-placed Liverpool.

Speaking of teams without victories, Aston Villa host Crystal Palace, who can boast one triumph since promotion. The Villans have struggled since the departure of Carla Ward and Robert de Pauw desperately needs to slide to end.

Elsewhere, unbeaten Manchester United travel to Leicester. Marc Skinner’s side have won and drawn three of their six matches thus far and beating Leicester by a few goals would help them jump above Arsenal as United search for momentum after three draws in a row.

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace, 2pm (GMT)
Everton v Liverpool, 3pm
Leicester v Manchester United, 3pm
