Everton are reportedly in the hunt to sign Eintracht Frankfurt start Daichi Kamada but face Premier League competition from Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United.
The Blues have been frequently linked with attacking options as they remain light in forward areas. Another setback for Dominic Calvert-Lewin has highlighted the need for Sean Dyche to delve into the market and bolster the strikeforce.
As it stands, Neal Maupay and Ellis Simms remain the options for the 51-year-old as they embark on a relegation battle. They were forced to move late in the January transfer window and ended a hectic deadline day with no new arrivals despite links with Kamaldeen Sulemana, Viktor Gyokeres

The 26-year-old was apart of the Europa League-winning side that beat Rangers on penalties to write themselves in his Frankfurt history. With his contract set to expire in the summer, it has been said that Dyche is targeting a move for the forward who has 13 goals in 28 games.
According to Dean Smith, Kamada is on the Blues radar. He told Give Me Sport: "At this stage, you wouldn’t expect them to be having a big outlay. I think Sean Dyche is already understanding of that, but certainly, you know, he’s a player already on their radar they’ll be looking at."
City, Spurs and the Magpies are also said to be keen. Clubs from the Premier League could enter pre-contract negotiations to sign Kamada last month with his deal up at the end of the season.
