Everton star Richarlison urged to consider Manchester United transfer

Richarlison would be even better than he currently is in a top Premier League side like Manchester United.

That's according to the Everton forward's fellow Brazilian Kleberson, who hopes to see his compatriot get a big move this summer after slumming it at the bottom of the table this season. Everton are one of six teams never to have been relegated from the Premier League, but they have teetered on the edge of disaster this season.

After a shocking defeat to relegation rivals Burnley at the start of April, the Toffees looked doomed for the drop but they have managed three wins and a draw in their five games since to give their survival hopes a massive boost. Frank Lampard's side are currently out of the drop zone by a point and look more likely to stay up ahead of Burnley or Leeds.

The form of Richarlison has been crucial in their turnaround, with the forward grabbing vital goals against Chelsea and Leicester as well as putting in several big performances. It's unsurprising that, as a result, he is being linked with a summer move.

United, who are in need of attacking reinforcements, are one of the teams to be linked with the 25-year-old and former midfielder Kleberson thinks a transfer to a big club would be great for his career.

“Everton are so lucky to still have Richarlison playing for them," he told PaddyPower. He’s an important player for them and Everton have been fighting relegation all season.

“Imagine what Richarlison would be like at Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea. He could fight for the top scorer in those teams. He’s such a good player and he’s so dangerous in the attacking areas playing in a bad team this season.

“Everton have been fighting relegation since the season started and Everton will be glad to have kept him until the end of this season, but he probably could have moved teams a bit earlier.

“I hope to see him in a top Premier League team in the future.”
