Donny van de Beek has been given a glowing review by one of his new Everton team-mates following Saturday's thumping victory over Leeds United.
Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane and Anthony Gordon all found the back of the net at Goodison Park as Everton try to drag themselves away from the drop zone.
Van de Beek started and played the full 90 minutes for Frank Lampard's side - a feat he was not given the chance to do at Old Trafford during the first half of the campaign.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Gordon was full of praise for his new team-mate.
He said: "Amazing performance. I love Donny. I love the intensity he brings to the team.
"He started with Allan with a two in midfield and that’s difficult to get around the pitch.
"I thought they did amazing."
The Dutchman's new boss was also keen to laud the midfielder.
Lampard added post-match: "In a midfield two against Leeds is tough because of their movement, and because they get a lot of rotation and movement in midfield.
"Him (Van de Beek) and Allan were fantastic, also Donny on the ball giving us a sense of calm and intelligence, and a nice rhythm in the team, and he’s going to get better and better.
"He’s been a dream to work with in the short time he’s been here. He waited for his time at Newcastle, I thought it was right to go with the same team and show the players they deserved it with Brentford, but today was spot on."
