Everton have had a "verbal proposal turned down" for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to reports.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blues contacted the Ukrainian outfit about one of the country's most promising talents - who is also said to be a target for Arsenal as they look to bolster their attacking options just days after shipping club-record signing Nicolas Pepe on loan to Ligue 1 outfit Nice.
On Monday, Romano tweeted: "Keep an eye on top talent Mychajlo Mudryk. Everton had a €30m verbal proposal turned down by Shakhtar Donetsk last week.

"Everton and Arsenal have explored the conditions of Mudryk deal few days ago — but just on player side. Many clubs want him, one to watch until the end."
For Frank Lampard, the Blues' current lack of depth in the final third has the potential to hinder the club's season before it has had any real chance to get going as they continue to struggle in front of goal without talisman Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is yet to feature in the Premier League this season following his latest injury setback earlier this summer.
Although speculation surrounding Anthony Gordon's proposed transfer to Chelsea seems to have somewhat cooled in recent days, his manager on Merseyside will no doubt be encouraged by the youngster's refusal to down tools as he scored Everton's only goal during their visit to Brentford over the weekend.
However, having only brought in Neal Maupay and Dwight McNeil in the forward department so far this summer, even if they are to keep Gordon, the Blues are in desperate need of versatile attacking reinforcements ahead of Thursday's summer deadline, something Mudryk could bring to Goodison Park if Everton were to reignite their interest.
Born in 2001, the Ukrainian winger enjoyed a breakthrough 2021/22 campaign as he notched two goals and a further nine assists before the country's footballing scene was halted in February due to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Able to play on either the left or the right wing, the 21-year-old winger could provide Lampard with competition for Demari Gray and McNeil over the course of the campaign.
Having amassed Champions League experience in his career thus far too, if Everton were to increase their rumoured £25m approach, Mudryk would represent a sizeable coup for the club as Lampard looks to bolster his squad in the hope of avoiding a similar relegation scare to last term.
