Everton are poised and ready for a nervy final day as they strive to preserve their Premier League status.
With a two-point advantage on Leicester City and Leeds United - who take on West Ham and Tottenham at home respectively - the Blues have safety in their own hands. However, first and foremost they must take care of business against AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park (4.30pm).
Victory for Everton is the surest and full-proof way to stay up this season. If they are unable to pick up three points, though, there is still hope based on what happens elsewhere as the Liverpool ECHO take a closer look at the ins and outs for Sean Dyche, his players and Everton supporters to factor in;

What happens if Everton beat Bournemouth?
A simple one to answer - Everton would remain in the Premier League next season.
As things stand, the Blues are in 17th position on 33 points. Leicester (18th) and Leeds (19th) are directly below them on 31 points - separated by goal difference - while Southampton (20th) have already been relegated, and are certain to finish bottom after five defeats on the bounce.
What happens if Everton and Bournemouth draw?
A point would leave Everton relying on other results. While they cannot be overhauled points wise, Leicester could overtake Dyche's side on goal difference if they beat West Ham and the Blues draw with Bournemouth.
Leeds can, technically, do the same. However, for that to happen, Leicester would also need to drop points and the Whites - managed by Sam Allardyce - would need to win handsomely due to their inferior goal difference.
As things stand, their goal difference (-27) is three worse than Everton's (-24). Leicester are -18 right now - but it will only take on significance if Everton draw and either, or both, of their rivals win elsewhere.

What happens if Everton are defeated?
Naturally, that would be the nightmare scenario for Everton and their dedicated supporters watching at Goodison Park and beyond. Defeat really opens up the possibility of them being overtaken by Leicester and / or Leeds and, as such, consigning them to relegation into the Championship.
Of course, their rivals would still need to beat West Ham and / or Tottenham respectively. Everton could still stay in the Premier League if they are beaten, but Leicester and Leeds would both need to drop points; victory for just one will send Dyche's men down.
