Everton are still waiting for the right partnership opportunity to come along as they remain the only Premier League side without a shirt sleeve sponsor currently.
The ECHO understands the Blues have turned down a number of offers that do not meet the value that they have in mind for their deal, or don't meet the direction that the club want to take in terms of the future partners they take on. The club are confident in being able to find the right agreement in the future and are comfortable in assessing a number of options up until that point.
Everton announced their first shirt sleeve sponsorship agreement with gaming brand Rovio for their match kits in September 2017, with "Angry Birds" adorning the Blues tops for almost three years. That partnership came to an end in May 2020, after talks between the two parties over a new agreement came to an end.

The club had earned an estimated £3m from the three-year-deal signed back in 2017 which led to the Angry Birds logo on the first team kit. It's understood that the decision to not have a shirt sleeve sponsor in the remaining time since has been made by the club, and has not been affected by kit manufacturer hummel.
For the future, it's a case of Everton finding the right partner which both meets the valuation they have set for the deal, which is undisclosed, and fits in with the ideals the club wants to portray with its future partners. In 2020, the club cut ties with former shirt sponsor Sportpesa after performing a review of the deal and deciding to cut it short two years early.
The Blues also recently suspended their agreements with USM, Megafon and Yota following Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. Alisher Usmanov is a major shareholder in those companies and has been closely linked to Vladimir Putin in the past.
