Everton forward Richarlison has appeared to aim a dig at Liverpool after they were pipped to the Premier League title by Manchester City on the final day of the season.
The Reds claimed a 3-1 win over Wolves on Sunday. Despite Pedro Neto scoring early on for the visitors at Anfield, goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson secured the victory. However, it was not enough to leapfrog City after they came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium and win the league.

Not long after the final whistle had blown at the Etihad, Richarlison posted a tweet that appeared to be aimed at Liverpool’s misfortune. The tweet featured the renowned GIF of Thierry Henry struggling to hold back laughter, implying that the Brazilian is enjoying Everton's rivals not winning the title.
The tweet from Richarlison comes a couple of days after he aimed a tweet at Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher. After Everton escaped relegation with their win over Crystal Palace in midweek, he tweeted: "@Carra23 wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don't respect you."
In response to Richarlison’s tweet, Carragher saw the funny side, admitting that he would have reacted similarly if he was a player nowadays.
Carragher replied by saying: “I actually quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I’m sure I would’ve called pundits out quite a lot!!”
