1983/85 home kit

It's not just the design of a kit that elevates it to being the best, but the history that comes along with it.
What could be more apt, then, to be Everton 's greatest kit of all time than their home strip between 1983 and 1985? A period which is still looked back on with awe at being a truly incredible time of being a Blue.
And, to be fair, it's still a nice looking design to boot. The shade of blue might be a touch lighter, but its elegance lies in its simplicity.
White trim, accompanied by a small triangle at the top of the shirt (thankfully not the large bib that the 2009 recreation boasted) makes it instantly recognisable and one of the most iconic strips Everton have ever worn.
And there were a fair amount of trophies that came with it to boot. What could be better?

1995/97 home kit

An iconic Everton kit that lives long in the memory of supporters. The 1995-97 kit, in my opinion, ticked all the boxes in terms of what you want from a strip.
The royal blue shirt was in keeping with the club’s history and tradition, while the black and blue socks were also something extremely different to what the Blues had worn before.
The kit was worn when the Blues reached the 2nd Round of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup where they were knocked out by Feyenoord, they also finished sixth in the league, only just missing out on a UEFA Cup spot.
Some iconic names such as Daniel Amokachi, Andrei Kanchelskis, Anders Limpar and Paul Rideout all wore the strip, while the kit, for me, will always be associated with late great Gary Speed.
Any image supporters have in their head of Speed in action for the Blues, he is normally wearing this famous kit. And it is testament to how it has stood the test of time that it is still being worn by supporters at Goodison Park on matchdays.
