Everton have reportedly rejected a bid from PSV Eindhoven for defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
The 21-year-old is currently spending the season on loan with the Dutch giants but the Blues have no intention of allowing him to depart Goodison Park permanently and have declined an opening offer, according to the Daily Mail.
Branthwaite was signed from Football League outfit Carlisle United in 2020 and spent the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan at Blackburn Rovers - where he made 10 appearances in the Championship.

However, after a difficult start to life in Holland - with reports earlier in the campaign suggesting he could be recalled due to a lack of game time - Branthwaite has started the last six Eredivisie games for Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side, who currently sit third in the table behind Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.
While Everton are yet to officially announce Frank Lampard's successor on Merseyside, Sean Dyche is expected to be named as the club's new manager at some point on Monday.
