Everton moved out of the relegation zone on Monday courtesy of an emphatic victory at the home of high-flying Brighton.
Doubles from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dwight McNeil and a Jason Steele own goal saw Sean Dyche's side secure an remarkable 5-1 victory, providing a much-needed boost as the Blues battle to beat the drop.
Results elsewhere also went in Everton's favour, with the exception of Nottingham Forest's home win over Southampton, as Leeds United and Leicester City were beaten once again. The Toffees are now two points of both teams with three match remaining against Manchester City, Wolves and Bournemouth.

The race to survive could well go down to the final day, though Everton now have the power to avoid such a scenario should they secure three points before then and Leeds and Leicester remain winless.
