Everton's survival hopes were majorly boosted this afternoon after Leeds United's 3-1 defeat by West Ham United.
This result has left Sam Allardyce's side stranded in the relegation zone, two points adrift of the Blues with only one match remaining in the season.
The Whites had taken the lead in the 17th minute after Rodrigo Moreno's impressive volley, though were soon pegged back when West Ham captain Declan Rice levelled from close range. David Moyes' men then took the lead with 18 minutes remaining in the match, Jarrod Bowen coolly slotting into the bottom right corner. Manuel Lanzini added a third for the London side with minutes remaining in the contest after great work from Lucas Paqueta.

Leeds made a double change late on in proceedings as they looked to issue a late response, deploying Sam Greenwood and Marc Roca from the bench, but were unable to earn a share of the spoils during seven minutes of additional time.
Allardyce's side now enter their final game of the campaign against Tottenham Hotspur knowing they require three points to stand any chance of staying up. Everton's attention now turns to tomorrow night's match between Newcastle United and Leicester City, which will provide a clearer indication as to the result the Blues must obtain when hosing Bournemouth next weekend.
