Everton are still searching for their new manager following the departure of Rafa Benitez.
The Spaniard left Goodison Park last week following a defeat to Norwich City, with Duncan Ferguson in caretaker charge.
Since Benitez’s exit, a host of names have been linked with potentially taking over in the Blues hotseat.
A fresh report in the Daily Mail has claimed that "serial winner" Vitor Pereira has emerged as a “major contender” to be the next Everton manager.

The report states that Pereira has impressed during a recent interview for the job, with Farhad Moshiri said to be keen on appointing a “visionary” as the next Everton manager.
Pereira, who has won nine major trophies in his career, was recently in charge of Turkish club Fenerbahce.
The 53-year-old left the Super Lig club last month and is currently without work.
As well as Fenerbahce, Pereira has also taken charge of Porto, Olympiacos, 1860 Munich and Shanghai SIPG, among others, in his managerial career.
Pereira is now a marginal or joint favourite with some bookies for the Everton job, with Oddchecker listing the Portuguese as the most likely candidate to take over at Goodison Park.
Other names listed as the potential new manager of Everton are Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, Fabio Cannavaro and Graham Potter.
