Everton new stadium hits another major milestone as new status confirmed
The first liner sheets to aid with the roof build-up have been slotted into place at Everton Stadium.
As work on the roof accelerates on Everton’s 52,888 capacity future home at Bramley-Moore Dock – with the second section of the first truss in the north stand bolted into place earlier this week – the roof panelling is following quickly behind.

Around half of the roof panelling is being fixed at ground level, to reduce the risk of harm by working at height and to minimise the impact of the wind in the construction operation. Temporary steel bracing is also helping to secure the trusses until the whole truss assembly and roof barrel are complete and able to support their own weight.

Everton confirm two fixture changes for TV with new Liverpool derby date
Two of Everton's Premier League clashes in February have been moved after being selected for live TV broadcast.
The Toffees are due to host Premier League table-toppers Arsenal during the first weekend of the month, their original Saturday February 4 slot moved to a slighlty earlier 12.30pm kick-off to be shown live on BT Sport.
Later that month, Frank Lampard's side will travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby. That clash has been picked for a Monday Night Football showing on Sky Sports, with the action now taking place on Monday February 13 at 8pm.
